Syleham and Wingfield Village Hall

The village hall, located in Syleham (post code for satnav users is IP21 4LT) but serving the communities of both Syleham and Wingfield, was once the local church school, which closed in approximately 1932. It was leased to the communities in 1982 and, having been extended shortly afterwards, is now a well-appointed building with easy access and ample car parking. An air conditioned hall (with stage), lounge area and separate meeting/pool room have access to a well equipped bar. There is a large kitchen and one of the toilets is accessible to the disabled.

The hall has been home to a thriving sports and social club for 25 years. Annual membership is £3.50 (Senior Citizens £3.00) and the bar is open to members, their families and guests from 8pm on Tuesday and Friday nights, when darts and pool are available.

The hall is used for parish council meetings and fund raising events for both Syleham and Wingfield and is also available for hire. The booking secretary is Donna Baker who can be contacted on 01379 668361 or email here regarding general enquiries. The website is here.

For events and activities contact Julie Thompson 01379 668169.
